Collaboration from YTB at the İlim Yayma Awards: Academic Advisory Support for International Students

Perşembe, Kasım 27, 2025

The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) has launched an important collaboration within the scope of the fourth İlim Yayma Awards to be held this year. Through this partnership, the scientific expertise of award-winning academics will be shared with international students coming to Türkiye, providing them with one-on-one academic mentorship support.

Through the Türkiye Scholarships program, international students coming to Türkiye from various regions of the world will have the opportunity to work directly with highly qualified academics in their fields. This collaboration aims to support the academic development of these students and to strengthen the sharing of high-quality scientific knowledge at the international level.

A total of 1,324 applications were submitted to this year’s İlim Yayma Awards from 188 different institutions. The fact that 174 of these applications came from universities demonstrates the strong interest the award program has received within the academic community. In the evaluation process, a total of 316 scientists took part, including 29 members of the scientific committee, 202 technical experts, 58 scientific reviewers, and 19 honorary committee members.

The İlim Yayma Awards aim to go beyond simply identifying award recipients by supporting the follow-up of projects and the advancement of scientific production. Thanks to this collaboration with YTB, the knowledge and experience of award-winning scientists will directly contribute to the academic journeys of international students.

The special award ceremony for the fourth year of the İlim Yayma Awards will be held on November 29. With its initiatives aimed at expanding Türkiye’s scientific output and strengthening international academic engagement, the program once again stands out this year.
