A cooperation agreement was signed between the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and Anadolu Agency (AA).
A cooperation agreement was signed between YTB and AA in order to increase the communication potential in the studies carried out in the field of citizens living abroad, sibling and related communities and international students. The agreement was realized at TEKNOFEST TRNC, which was attended by young people from all over the world with the support of YTB. The signatures regarding the protocol were made by YTB President Abdullah Eren and AA General Manager and Chairman of the Board Serdar Karagöz at AA's stand.
Speaking at the protocol, YTB President Abdullah Eren stated that AA has been working to obtain accurate and genuine information all over the world for over a century.
Stating that they attach great importance to the benefit of citizens and cognate communities abroad from AA’s work, Eren said, “We benefit greatly from AA in our work for our European citizens. In addition, there is a wide media network that reports in Turkish in the Balkans, the Middle East and the Turkish world.”
We Thank AA for Their Support

Eren, who stated that they host Turkish newspaper and magazine publishers in Macedonia, Kosovo, Western Thrace and Bulgaria for education in Türkiye, said, “AA provides them with vocational training within this scope. Hopefully, we will continue this work. Currently, more than 15 thousand international students from 185 countries of the world are receiving undergraduate, graduate and doctoral education in Türkiye. Some of these students are studying in journalism, radio and television departments. AA provides training to our young brothers and sisters coming from different countries of the world with its competent staff. I think there will be a new training program towards the end of May. We have started to bring many students from Africa, especially in recent years. We have graduates who are reporters and editors in important newspapers in Africa. We are trying to bring them together with AA.”
We Follow YTB Activities Closely

AA General Manager and Chairman of the Board Serdar Karagöz stated that they are an agency that closely follows YTB’s activities and said the following: “We closely follow and report on YTB’s activities in Central Asia, Europe and Africa. We are also trying to increase the communication potential of Turkish citizens and their relative communities living abroad under the coordination of YTB. Increasing the potential of each of them in the media and communication fields is of great importance for the unity and solidarity of the Turkish world. Local media abroad serve as the most important instrument to keep Turks living in that region together. Our work and collaborations of this kind will continue under the coordination of YTB and in cooperation with AA.”
