Educational Support from Baykar for Palestinian Students

The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and Baykar have launched the "Palestine Joint Scholarship Program" cooperation protocol to support Palestinian students studying in our country under the scope of “Türkiye Scholarships.” The protocol signing ceremony was held at the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center. The memorandum of understanding was signed by Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Baykar, and Abdulhadi Turus, President of YTB.

Under the protocol, it is envisioned to grant scholarships to Palestinian candidates who will receive associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral education in Türkiye. Within the framework of the 2026 planning, a total of 200 Palestinian students—consisting of 160 undergraduate, 30 master's, and 10 doctoral students—will benefit from this program. The scholarship amounts, accommodation expenses, round-trip flight tickets, and project-related costs that the students will need throughout their education will be fully covered by Baykar.

​The “Türkiye Scholarships-Baykar Joint Technology Scholarship Program,” jointly conducted by Baykar and YTB, is also ongoing. Within the scope of the program initiated between the two institutions on December 3, 2022, scholarship support is provided for 4 years to 200 international students from 18 countries studying in engineering fields in Türkiye.
