Media Academy in the Age of Communication held in Edirne in Cooperation with TRT

The second edition of the media academy course was held at YTB’s Office in Edirne for the international students on a Türkiye Scholarship interested in the media industry.
The first edition of the media academy course was held in Istanbul and attended by 37 international students on a Türkiye Scholarship from 27 countries who are interested in media industry, under the project titled “Media Academy in the Age of Communication” carried out under the Communication Outreach Program of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). The second edition of the media academy course was held at the YTB’s Office in Edirne on November 11 & 12, 2023 and attended by 31 international students from 13 countries.
The trainees were provided with a variety of courses on journalism, storytelling, field production and mobile journalism by the TRT’s professionals involved in the social responsibility project titled Journalism for Youth. The international students were provided with both literature details and applied experiences. Meeting with other students from all around the world, the participants enjoyed a major network of communication.
The international students took part in a practice on day two. All the news reports created with focus on human stories were reviewed by the TRT’s trainers of Journalism Workshop for Youth as part of the digital video contest. The program was concluded by an award ceremony and delivery of certificates.
