North Macedonia Minister Of European Affairs, A Graduate From Türkiye, Murtezani Visited YTB

North Macedonia's Minister of European Affairs, Orhan Murtezani, visited YTB and met with President Abdullah Eren. Murtezani, who himself is a graduate from Türkiye, urged all students in North Macedonia to apply for Türkiye Scholarships.

Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani of North Macedonia and his accompanying delegation visited the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). A graduate from Türkiye himself, Murtezani met with YTB President Abdullah Eren. During the program, meetings between delegations were also held. The discussions included an exchange of ideas on existing partnerships between the countries, with a focus on Türkiye Scholarships. The meetings also highlighted YTB's activities regarding North Macedonia, emphasizing the work and contributions of Türkiye Alumni.

"TÜRKİYE SCHOLARSHIPS CAN TAKE YOU TO GREAT POSITIONS"

Speaking at the meeting, North Macedonia's Minister of European Affairs, Orhan Murtezani, noted that he himself was educated under the Türkiye Scholarships program. Stating that he spent his best years in Türkiye, Murtezani called on all students in North Macedonia to apply for Türkiye Scholarships. Explaining that the Türkiye Scholarships program has many advantages, Murtezani said, "In December 2010, I came to Türkiye as a student through Türkiye Scholarships. Today, I am here representing North Macedonia as a minister. The scholarship you provided at that time has been a means for me to attain this position. Therefore, I want to make an appeal. I would like all students in North Macedonia to apply for Türkiye Scholarships. Since I had my best experiences after coming to Türkiye, I recommend it to you as well. Please apply for Türkiye Scholarships. It could really elevate you to great positions," he said.

YTB President Abdullah Eren expressed that international students who have studied in Türkiye add value to inter-country relations through the positions they hold after graduation. Expressing his pleasure in hosting Orhan Murtezani, a prominent example of a Türkiye Graduate and the North Macedonia Minister of European Affairs, at YTB, Eren said, "International students who have studied in Türkiye continue to offer valuable contributions to our countries and act as goodwill ambassadors through the positions they take on after graduation. Today, we hosted one of the finest manifestations of this, Türkiye Graduate, North Macedonia Minister of European Affairs, Orhan Murtezani, at YTB. We exchanged views on existing collaborations between our countries, especially regarding Türkiye Scholarships, which is a prestigious brand in our country's international education."
