Young Leaders Program

Being more active in the cultural, political and social life of the countries of residence would be possible for Turkish people abroad through the high ideals of the newly raised generations and the right means to achieve these ideals. In line with this, the Young Leaders Abroad Program abroad has been designed to educate the role models that have a direct impact on every aspect of our society. The program also aims to support the education and social lives of the new generations.

The program plans to provide education for young people who are successful in education and social life in different countries during two weeks between 18-31 August 2019. The content of the education is based on the idealism of young people in their social and individual lives and aims to cement their identity and culture in a bid to carry them to the important positions in social, political, academic lives and civil society of the societies they live in. In this regard, the main objective of the program is to strengthen the commitment of young people to their self-identity and culture so that they attain successful positions. The program priorities the education of young people on language, culture and history with its identity-building nature. Its curriculum includes topics such as personal development, intercultural communication, international politics, and Turks abroad.  Institution visits are also carried out in the program in order to enhance the cohesion of young people among themselves and reinforce the permanence of their ties with our Presidency and the relevant institutions of our country. Additionally, cultural and historical trips and art workshops are planned to be organized within the framework of the program.

Full board accommodation and transportation costs of the participants will be covered by the Presidency.

Two programs based in Ankara and Istanbul will be carried out and the group will be selected among the young people who grew up in 15 countries where Turkish citizens live more.
